Badminton
Badminton is a fast and fun sport, requiring fitness and accuracy. Unlike the tennis ball, a shuttlecock has a great deal of drag, and much of the game of badminton is about compensating for that - the long racket necks, for example, are designed specifically to counter the shuttle's poor aerodynamics. The shutlecock's lack of weight makes badminton one of the fastest sports on the planet, speeds of up to 332 km/h, make for a challenging sport. Developed from games played by British officers in India in the 19th century, badminton is a game of great skill and often requires more running than tennis. The badminton court is smaller than the tennis court, meaning specialist sports posts and nets are needed for any game.
