Badminton Posts

Supplied in pairs all posts in this section are approved by the Badminton Association of England and conform to BS EN 1509. Posts undergo a zinc phosphate pre-treatment and are then finished with a durable polyester powder coated finish. This gives the posts a tough scratch resistant finish. Please order nets separately and please note that the practice posts are not designed to achieve the regulation net height.

Premier Competition Badminton Posts

Ref: HA-BAD-021

Ideal for sports halls where ground sockets are not possible. As used at the Manchester Commonwealth Games with improved specification.

40mm dia heavy duty aluminium uprights with 5mm wall. Uprights and base are polyester powder coated blue. Each heavy duty wheelaway base weighs 72kg. Uprights and bases do not protrude into court area.

Easy to use quick release clam cleats allow exact net height to be achieved for competition use. Individual velcro net ties ensure net is held firmly to the uprights as per BSEN1509.

125mm dia rubber wheels will not mark or damage floor. Foam filled PVC base protectors with velcro fastening.

Socketed Competition Badminton Posts

Ref: HA-BAD-023

Recommended by the National Badminton Association of England as used at their Centre in Milton Keynes. With improved specification.

40mm dia heavy duty aluminium uprights with 5mm wall. Uprights are polyester powder coated yellow. Complete with zinc plated steel sockets & flush fitting drop-in lid. Uprights do not protrude into court area.

Wheelaway Club Training Badminton Posts

Ref: HA-BAD-032

With improved specification.

40mm steel uprights with cleats and grooved top. Posts are attached to the base with a spring clip mechanism and can be easily detached for storage.

Uprights can be supplied welded to the base at extra cost. Polyester powder coated blue. Uprights and bases do not protrude into court area.

'H' shaped bases have built-in weight and have rubber pads for floor protection. Wide double wheels are housed in extra strong fabricated brackets and will not mark or dent floors. Offset wheels allow maximum space between courts whilst conforming to required safety standards.

Netting can be drawn very tight without movement of upright and base.
