Gaelic Football

Gaelic Football can be described as a mixture of soccer and rugby, although it predates both of those games. It is a field game which has developed as a distinct game similar to the progression of Australian Rules. Indeed it is thought that Australian Rules evolved from Gaelic Football through the many thousands who were either deported or emigrated to Australia from the middle of the nineteenth century.

These gaelic posts are lightweight and easy to handle, with uprights supplied in sections for ease of storage. Out of ground height 9m. Two piece uprights.

Manufactured from aluminium tube and polyester powder coated white. Bottom uprights 7m long, 76mm diameter x 5mm thick. Top uprights 3.9m long, 63.5mm diameter x 1.6mm thick. Crossbar 6.49m long, 76mm diameter x 5mm thick.

Net supports are manufactured from galvanised 32mm dia. x 1.5mm steel. 1m deep sockets with 79mm inside diameter, complete with base plates. Posts are fitted with a pin and drop 940mm below ground level. Stainless steel fasteners.

Out of ground height 3.66m. One piece uprights. Manufactured from steel tube and polyester powder coated white. Uprights 3.66m long, 60mm diameter x 4mm thick.

Crossbar 3.0m long, 60mm diameter x 4mm thick. The side rails and backbar are made from 50mm square x 2mm thick steel providing stability and distributing the weight more evenly.

Net supports are manufactured from galvanised 32mm diameter x 1.5mm steel. Complete with four ‘U’ Peg HA-PEG-021 anchors, for pegging on grass (risk assessment required). Stainless steel fasteners.
