Family business Harrod, was started in 1954, (only 7 years after us), by Ron Harrod by converting the traditional skills of making fishing nets into garden netting and then progressing to sports netting.
From such small scale beginnings they are now the UK’s leading manufacturer of sports ground equipment and netting and have achieved the accolade of the official supplier to the Olympics for football and hockey goals.
