]]>Goal post safety is something we take seriously and only supply goals that meet all the relevant safety standards. It is also essential that anyone who purchases a goal considers the safety implications.
]]>Main safety considerations -
All full-size, free-standing goals for sports such as football (and hockey) must be firmly anchored throughout their use.
All free-standing goals are stored safely i.e. If stored against a wall or fence they must be securely attached so they cannot fall over.
All socket type goals are cemented into the ground.
All equipment is checked before it is used to ensure it is safe and it has not been tampered with or vandalised.
It is also important to point out that the use of steel cup net hooks has been banned by the FA since 2007.
For more details information please take a look at the British Standard (BS) 8461 code of practice FA Goal Post Safety

]]>There are three principle profiles within the world of football nets: Standard, Straight Back or Box.
Standard nets are used with football goals that have a top runback or D-bracket. The nets are then hung over the runback or D-bracket until they reach the ground and can be pegged down.
Straight back nets are used with the football goals that have no top runback or net support brackets. The nets sit on the top of the crossbar and go straight to the ground to be anchored in.
Stadium box nets are for football goals that have supporting back poles or fence folding goals. The nets attach from the goal frame to the back poles or bars providing the ‘box’ look you see in the Premier League.
An excellent surface for private tennis courts with benefit that it can be “adjusted” to suit your style of play as the proportion of loose grit changes the speed of the play, height of bounce and degree of slip. It is also kinder on the knees!
]]>There are a wide range of rugby posts available varying in height from 5m through to 17m, manufactured from aluminium or steel and erected in traditional sockets or using a hinge system and it can be rather daunting to identify the best posts to suit your requirements.
]]>Extensive trials identify Qualgex as the best product to clean hard surface tennis courts.
